Bocce has been very popular at Plantation since it was introduced in 2006. Approximately 175 people participate in the leagues, and others in open play. It is a game which takes about one hour to complete, and can be learned by all ages and abilities in a very short time. League competition is spirited and fun for all. There are two Bocce courts, located behind the Tennis Pro Shop. New players are always welcome to join league play. No prior experience is necessary, and instruction is available, if desired.
